We have been appointed to bring a live-work studio back to life in West London. Once the home of Arnold Machin, renowned for his relief portrait of the Queen that adorns our stamps, there is rich history to absorb and we hope some will find its way into the completed project.

We have collaborated with Cantifix and Arrant Land on a kennel for the Blue Cross as part of the Bow Wow Haus charity initiative. Over 70 international architects and designers were invited to take part with the kennels on show in London's St. Pancras International Station from the 19th March. A gala auction will take place in April with all proceeds going to the Blue Cross.
Our design is to ensure you never have to hunt for a ball for your dog to chase when you take them for a walk.
You can see more on our kennel and the other designs on the Bow Wow Haus website.
AYA Awards /
We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for Small Projects Architect of the Year in the BD AYA Awards. Looking forward to the ceremony, we might just have to get some new clobber.

Planning Success /
We are delighted to announce that planning has been approved for a new house on the banks of Loch Awe in the west of Scotland. At 650m sq. the house is not insignificant. Neither is the ambition for it. We will be posting more information on the scheme on our projects pages early in the new year.
Camden Design Awards /
We were delighted to hear that Valhalla made it onto the shortlist of the Camden Design Awards 2017. We didn't scoop an award, but it was a great achievement to get such a small project among esteemed company. We're going to make sure we get a bit further in 2019.

100 houses 100 years /
Murray was delighted to attend the launch of the C20 Society's latest publication '100 Houses 100 Years' which includes House No.7 as one of the best houses of the last century.

Haddo Yard Completes /
August has been a very busy one at Denizen Works where we have seen the completion of Haddo Yard on time and on budget. We are having photographs taken this month but you can get a sneak preview on the modern house website where the building is being marketed.
We we are also delighted to have not one, but two projects selected for 2020 Visions - 100 Best Homes as part of the RIAS Festival of Architecture 2017. House No.7 and Mannal House both made the grade and we are looking forward to seeing the other entries sometime in September.
This month has also seen the submission for planning of an exciting 650 sq.m. home on the banks of Loch Awe in west coast of Scotland. We will publish the house on our website soon so keep an eye out for it.
