RFB Planning Approval / by Murray Kerr

We're delighted that our planning application for Roseneath Farm was unanimously approved at committee. After a long process, it was reassuring to see the quality of the design recognised by the committee and for all of the team's the hard work to have paid off.

The proposal is for a new-build home stitched into the remnants of a former agricultural courtyard. The forms and materials of the new buildings are inspired by the agricultural context and orientated to maximise views of the landscape, whilst establishing a new relationship with the historic barn structure. This barn will be lovingly restored and accommodate external dining and living spaces, mediating between the courtyard and new living wing.
