College Yard sees the insertion of 4/5 new family homes into the shell of a disused warehouse building in north London for Solid Space. The proposal includes the retention of the existing structure and the creation of courtyards to bring light into the plan. The houses will be constructed using the Solid Space Connect model with split level eating/living/working spaces.
The houses will be prefabricated in concrete and clad in a mix of white and saltglaze bricks to reflect light into the courtyards.
