Stephen Lawrence Prize 2014 by Murray Kerr

We are delighted to announce that we picked up the Stephen Lawrence Prize at the Stirling Awards on Thursday night. We missed out on the Manser Medal, but to be nominated for both was an amazing achievement and to walk away with a gong has made the weekend an enjoyable one.

Awards time by Murray Kerr

July has been a great month for us all as we picked up our first RIAS and RIBA awards and to top it all off, we also picked up a Saltire Housing Award at the Saltire Society's awards ceremony in Edinburgh.

We are also delighted to be collaborating with fashion brand Folli Follie on an installation as part of the RIBA's Regent Street Shop Window Project. The designs will be unveiled at the beginning of September.

Scottish Design Award by Murray Kerr

Following on from our success at the Grand Designs Awards, we have picked up a Scottish Design Award for House No.7. Next up the RIAS Awards.

In other news, we are preparing to submit a planning application for a new 3-bedroom house in Clapham, London. More to come soon.

We are also taking a look at a new country house near Dalmally in the west of Scotland. We will post something when we have it.

The last month has been quite an exciting one for Denizen Works. House No. 7 has been shortlisted for an RIAS award and the Scottish Design Awards. The shortlistings would have been excitement enough for one month, but we have scooped the Grand Designs Home of the Year Award 2014.

We started work on a project with Solid Space this month, going to be a good one. More information to come.
