with Arrant Land
Denizen Works are working with Arrant Land to develop designs for a new-build three-bedroom house on a bucolic backland site in South London. The house combines two elements, one rural and one urban, to create a contextual house in a complex inner-city site.
The house has a brick base reminiscent of an english country garden replete with wildflowers topped with a lead ‘mansard’ roof. The two elements combine to reduce the scale of the intervention while creating an inward looking house full of changing light and carefully crafted views to the surrounding nature.
Area: 140m² ・ Budget: NA ・ Completion: Ongoing
