AVENUE STUDIOS
RBKC, London

We are working to bring back to life a Grade II listed artists’ studio in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea which will ensure its use as a studio space while providing accommodation that is suitable to the 21st Century.

The Studio has a rich history having been the studio of Arnold Machin where he made much work including the plaster relief of the Queen Elizabeth II that adorns all UK stamps. After his death, the studio went on to host the Royal Drawing School and continues to host artistic pursuits.

We are enjoying the constraints that come with working with a building of heritage importance and are working hard to retain the character of the original while bringing the personality of our clients into our proposals.

Listed building consent has been sought and we look forward to developing the design to completion.

Area: 156 m sq・  Budget: Private ・  Completion: Summer 2020
